OUR SUMMER STORY
Our first collection, inspired by Martha's Vineyard, felt like a natural extension of our family. In 1671, our ancestor Samuel Tilton was among the original founders of the Island. Thirteen generations later, we remain perennially inspired by the magic of Martha's Vineyard. In 2025, we will continue to grow our collection with designs inspired by other American Enclaves.

Summer Colony Co. was founded by Kat Medgyesy, a designer and creative director with a background in fashion, branding, and visual storytelling. A lifelong lover of seasonal rituals, Kat launched the brand to capture the charm of coastal summers—equal parts cheeky and refined. With an eye for detail and a passion for beautiful utility, she brings a playful, elevated sensibility to every product, inspired by summers spent in Martha’s Vineyard and the art of entertaining well.
